Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with dogs in a safe and playful environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dog care area.
- Feed and provide fresh water to dogs as per their schedules.
- Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management.
- Assist in the training and socialization of dogs during playtime.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect both dogs and staff.
- Communicate with dog owners regarding their pets' behavior and needs.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills.
Requirements:
- Passion for animal care and experience working with dogs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to lift and handle dogs of various sizes.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Basic understanding of dog behavior and training principles.
- Previous experience in a dog daycare or kennel is a plus.
- Compassionate demeanor and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

About Tuxedo’s K9 Training Camp
Tuxedo K9 Training Camp is a dog training, boarding, and doggie daycare facility located on Ridge Road in Irondequoit. We are passionate about your pup, and offer only the best and most fun experience for both you and your best friend! Owner and dog trainer Mark Patrick is an expert in the field, and uses a positive reinforcement training method to train both you and your pup. Tuxedo’s K9 Training Camp offers small group classes, one-on-one lessons, daycare services, and boarding.
Our Facility
Our new soundproof facility reduces the stress and anxiety of barking for your canine companion, and our crumb rubber flooring reduces the stress and pounding from repetitive play on the pads and joints.
